Yard sale season is almost upon us, which means the potential for some brag-worthy wedding deals! Yard sales, flea markets and antique stores are filled to the brim with possible wedding details- for cheap. These treasure troves just require a little creativity, bargaining power, and a vision. The cool thing about these sales and markets is you never know what you will find! It could be antique keys to use as escort cards, vintage blue mason jars, glassware for your dessert bar, or nostalgic lanterns for your centerpieces. Think creatively about how you could use an item to match your wedding theme or repurpose a detail to make it work with your day. Look at some of the wedding deals I found at a community yard sale last summer for some ideas. Keep in mind that in most places, negotiations are acceptable- especially if you are buying multiple items- so chat with the owner/seller to see if you can the price of the perfect detail down. So grab your best barterers and hit the sales and share with us here or on Facebook some of the fabulous bargains you find! The picture above is my husband and me at a friend's wedding recently. She found this frame at antique store for $25- and didn't have to do a thing to it! It made for so many fun pictures! CommentsLeave a Reply | About Me
